Michael Jackson has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Heritage Christian University (2004) and a M.A. in New Testament from Freed-Hardeman University (2007). He began his work with HCU in the summer of 2007, and assumed the roles of Director of Distance Learning and Director of Institutional Research in the summer of 2009. Michael's academic interests include New Testament Greek, Biblical Interpretation and Application, and Research. He has eight years of ministry experience in College Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Associate Ministry. He currently serves as the College Minister with the Highland Park church of Christ. Michael and his wife, Stacey, have one son, Jonah.

Aläna Marks has worked in Christian education for 12 years, the past eight of those at HCU. Before being appointed the Assistant Director of Distance Learning, she served as Assistant to the President. Aläna and her husband, Mark, have two children, Alyssa Clark of Henderson, Tennessee and Chandler, a student at FHU. They attend Mars Hill church of Christ where Mark is a deacon and serves as the song leader/youth minister.
