Lifeblood of the University
An outstanding faculty is the lifeblood of every university. At Heritage Christian University, the focus has always been on real-world ministry, and the faculty is a perfect example of that unique blend of scholarship and practicality. While every Bible instructor is fully credentialed with degrees from institutions such as Brite Divinity School, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and Brandeis University, each instructor also has personal experience in local ministry, stateside campaigns, and foreign missions.
The current faculty includes full-time and associate ministers, elders, deacons, Bible class teachers, missionaries, counselors, and others involved in additional aspects of ministry. Every faculty member shares your love for souls and your personal commitment to real-world ministry. Their desire is to aid in the preparing of effective communicators of the gospel, and they understand the enormity of the task.
HCU instructors know the name of each of their students, and challenge them to excel. They have a genuine concern for the well-being of both the students and the church. They welcome one-on-one time with students, helping to make sure that each student becomes the best that he or she can be.
