Our Supporters
Heritage Christian University is blessed to have supporters who believe so strongly in the work and mission of the University. The HCU Board of Directors consists of 18 individuals who selflessly donated over $414,500 in 2009, totaling 17% of total revenues.1,375 individuals and 255 congregations who care about the training of preachers, teachers, and missionaries contributed 45% of the university’s total revenues in 2009.
HCU also has a growing and active President’s Council. The President’s Council is a select group of volunteers who have committed themselves to support, advance, and encourage the mission of HCU. Council members serve through functioning as good will ambassadors, furnishing advice and counsel on matters of strategic importance, contributing financial support and leadership, and assisting in student recruitment and job placement. University friends like Carrie Hovater have found a niche for ministry through serving on the HCU President’s Council. Carrie says, “Working with HCU is my way to reach the lost. I can fulfill the great commission by working through those who are being trained at HCU to preach and teach the gospel.”
